Hand sculpted wall hanging was originally a design that was etched on the back of a bronze mirror from the Etruscan period.
This image represents the goddess who is departing from the underworld in spring time, much like Persephonewho spent half the year in the underworld with Hades. Symbolic of rebirth.
Made of white stoneware clay, colored with oxide wash. Hangs on the wall with a string along the back.

Measures approximately 5.5" wide x 6" tall.
