Alpena is a pre-Roman goddess, angelic in form, the goddess of flowers. The design is reproduced from an image originally painted on a vase. A fragment of the vase was found during an excavation in Italy. This is a joyous and beautiful goddess.
This tile hangs on the wall. It is made of stoneware clay with an oxide wash.
