Pit Fired Venus of Willendorf Wall Sculpture

Hand sculpted and pit fired wall sculpture of the voluptuous Venus of Willendorf, one of the oldest artefacts ever found. This Venus is the epitome of the fertile mother goddess, holding, both, mystery and inspiration.
Approx. 6" high, hangs on the wall.
Pit firing yields an interesting, earthy coloring on each piece, from various shades of beiges to greys, and occasionally near-black. No two will ever be exactly alike.
(The origianl 35,000 year old, artifact was found in Willendorf, Austria.)
